A Wish Upon A Wedding – Granting weddings to couples facing terminal illness (where one has been diagnosed with less than five years to live).
Jaynel and John’s Love Story: John & Jaynel are an amazing and fun couple filled with laughter! Both are writers, they met at the Association Writers Professionals, spending much of the day together after initially meeting talking and reading about short stories. Living in 2 different places, Jaynel in San Francisco and John in Utah, the relationship started as a wonderful friendship via the phone and text messaging and eventually blossomed into love. They were engaged Christmas 2010.
Several years prior to meeting John, Jaynel was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis. As a marathon runner, Jaynel had gone from training to run, to learning how to walk again. Every month Jaynel gets infusion treatments, has struggled with slurred speech, and walking with a cane, and overall neurological pain. John has stayed by her side throughout it all. Jaynel truly feel that she has someone by her side not matter what and loves her unconditionally.
Believing in each other and encouraging one another to do the best they can makes them stronger. John and Jaynel put it best, “ We choose happiness”…
“Jaynel and John are married! Before friends and family, at the beautiful Julia Morgan Ballroom, the beautiful bride and handsome groom exchanged their vows.
It was a very intimate and personal ceremony followed by an amazing candlelit dinner by the fireplace and the evening finished with dancing! The décor was rustic with branches and fresh moss, while touches of taupe, robin’s egg blue, olive, ivory and burgundy colors where placed throughout the room. Jaynel’s bouquet was gorgeous with hues of cream and burgundy.
You could feel the love for each other in the air and the happiness from friends and family all around them. We are so excited for Jaynel and John as they continue to write their love story…”
